The universal articulate arm - SoLo 10 is used in numerous therapeutic applications. The articulate arm is a novel, extremely flexible, purely mechanical system that enables manual positioning of objects in space by just pulling the trigger on the arm handle. As soon as the trigger is released the arm is completely rigid. No high pressurised gas or hydraulic oil is required.
A large and increasing number of accessories are available for many different applications.
These include among others: -
- An optional elevation and swivel device integrated into the arm handle.
- A micromanipulator
- A base holder that can carry adaptors for cameras, retractors, templates, etc.
- A laparoscope holder for rigid laparoscopes
- User specific interfaces
